2019 Unity Dinner
We invite you to The Kenucky Alliance against Racist and Political Repression's annual Unity Dinner featuring Bobby Seale as the keynote speaker. It will be held December 7th, 6:00pm at the Hotel Louisville.
Events Include
We will be honoring community activist Lucile Leggett with the Carl and Anne Braden Lifetime Achievement Award , posthumously. We will also honor the Black Six, those brought to trial for the 1968 rebellion that protested the possible reinstatment of a white policeman for brutally beating a black man weeks earlier, and other "Unsung Heroes", those doing important work mostly behind the scenes will be honored as well.
